Question:
HAS ANYONE BEEN APPROVED WITH SUTTER GOULD??

Hello all this is Marilyn from Stockton, I am new to the group and some of the postings are scaring me. I am 5'9", 285lbs, BMI 42... I am pending insurance pre-certification via Sutter Gould medical foundation. I have called them several times and found out that I am in the Nurses que to be reviewed for approval.... Dying to know the outcome, and I come on line and everyone is dogging Aetna. Has anyone been approved from Aetna?? Is there anyway to expidite the pre- certification?? What if I am denied,.... does anyone actually pay cash for this, and which arm or leg would I need to surrender to get it?? Please respond. Thanks.    — MARILYN A. (posted on April 19, 2001)

Marilyn - There are several in my local support group in Sacramento who have a "SUTTER" group, such as SIP (Sutter Independent) and SMG (Sutter Med Group) The ones here in Sacramento seem to be affiliated with "Sutter Connect" who does the authorization. Most all of them have received approval so hopefully Sutter Gould will follow in their footsteps. Best wishes.
