Question:
Scar tissue preventing procedure
I had my gallbladder out lap and I have some scar tissue and an umbilical hernia. At the info meeting, they told me they would fix the hernia during the procedure if I got approved, but I forgot to mention the scar tissue. Would they have to do an open procedure and not lap due to this?? — Aydenzmoma (posted on October 15, 2011)

No, they can remove scar tissue during lap. I had Rou n y surgery 6 years
ago and just had a pederson's hernia repaired just 2 days ago and they also
removed a lot of scar tissue while in laproscopically. I came home the same
day. I too had my gall bladder out in 2002 and that is where most of my
scar tissue was. My surgeon is very skilled at what he does. Hope this
helps!

at all and both were done laproscopically
