Scar tissue preventing procedure

I had my gallbladder out lap and I have some scar tissue and an umbilical hernia. At the info meeting,they told me they would fix the hernia during the procedure if I got approved, but I forgot to mention the scar tissue. Would they have to do an open procedure and not lap due to this??
