Question:
Getting approved by 1199 greater NY benefit fund

I have had all my pre-op requirednebts done, even signed consent form for surgery waiting for a date which should have been, but 1199 denied, wanted me to have seen my primary Dr, for 6 mos for diet monitoring. I am very angry and dissappointed, any way of getting around this. My surgeon to talk to Med. Director at 1199. My primary was the Dr. to refer me to the surgeon. I had to do that, too, even though i had been dieting for years! I justt set my surgery date for a onth after my six weeks would be up, allowiing time for the insurance company to process the pre-authorization. The six months will go fast.
