Question:
Has anyone had Ted C. Scott, Lubbock, TX?

I stumbled onto the website for this doctor, it doesn't appear to be...an old unused site, it had today's date. What I would like to know is if anyone has seen or spoken with his staff. If so, do you know what specific surgeries he performs? On the web site it says he does gastroplasty and gastric bypass as well as the vertical band procedure. I emailed them, but have received no response. If he does the RNY, I would really like to hear from someone who might know.    — Diana M. (posted on March 22, 2001)

I used Dr. Hall at Images in Lubbock. I never contacted Dr. Scott because of the staff at Images. I was told that at least 3 of Dr. Scott's staff members had quit to come to work for Dr. Hall because of the "problems" in his office. I do not know what kind of problems. I got good references for Dr. Hall, so did not bother with Dr. Scott. Dr. Hall's website is www.surgicalweightloss.com .

I had an open RNY gastric bypass by Dr. Ted Scott March 19, this year. i don't know of any office problems... his staff has been extremely helpful in everything i have asked or needed. Dr. Scott is a quiet man but is honestly interested and concerned about the health of his patients. you might expect a "rival" office to not giving a glowing account.
