Question:
4 monts and stuck, NEED HELP!
Hi, I had my Gastric bypass 4 months ago and I dont know why but I am not losing weight, I tried to drink some water and eat the right amount of proteins. I really dont know if I am following the right Guidelines can some of you share yours ? And, if you are losing weight, what are you doing ?. I exercise and can only eat once per day. I just cannot eat more than that! please help me with your suggestions. What are some of the things that helped you in the past to over come the nonmoving scale? I'm sorry you are going through this. Eating once a day will definetly
stop your weight loss, your body is in starvation mode and trying to hang
on to what it's got. You should be eating small high protien meals every
few hours. Are you eating too much in that one sitting? That is a
possibility. What is it you are eating to only get one meal in and how
many calories? Remember we all have plateaus, and i'm no saint....i had
WLS in 2002, and had regained some, but not all, however, with the amount
of time you have out, one meal isn't sufficient.

Your bariatric surgeon should have provided guidelines to follow.
Follow-up with your surgeon as far as what you need to do. It is common
to reach plateaus. You need to eat more often than just once a day. Break
down your one meal into smaller meals.
