I am by no means a doctor, and I would strongly suggest calling your dr.
back if you aren't improving. My WL surgeon gave me a list of medications
that are approved, and a longer list of ones I'm not supposed to take. Any
drug containing aspirin or NSAID is not safe due to the risk of gastric and
small intestinal bleeding and possible ulceration. On the
"approved" list are Tylenol (cold products), Triaminics (all),
Robitussin, Sudafed, and Zyrtec. Again, please check with your doctor. Hope
this helps.

Hi - My answer is exactly the same as the first response. Ask your doctor,
for sure. I had the same experience and did not know what to take. The
Tylenol products was my answer but depending on what the doctor might see,
you may need antibiotics. Good luck!

I just went to the Dr. yesterday I have a terrible cold.I did not have a bacterial infection
so I am taking Zertec, Tylenal cold
and cough and drinking alot of fluids. I am feeling some what better this
morning. Stay away from NSAIDS and Asprain for it is not good for your
pouch. Good luck and I hope you feel better. :0)
