Sorry youre so unhappy. Regain is so upsetting.
Have you spoken to your surgeon about it?
THey do redo failed RNYs...they also do revisions from RNY to the DS
(Duodenal Switch)
I have heard of Stomaphyx as well but havent heard good things.
Why dont you try googling these terms as well as RNY regain.
Also check out duodenalswitch.com
Best of luck to you!

What are you eating????? I cant imagine being able to gain back the weight.
I had my surgery 4 yrs ago and i still get dumping and feel like crap if I
eat too much or eat sugar or a lot of carbs. Being anemic is a problem. I
eas anemic because my periods were so irregular and my body wasnt getting
the correct amount of iron. Endometrial ablation took care of that. I would
watch what you eat. Go back to the beginning of when you had the surgery
and do liquids and soft foods.

If your first surgeon did not help you through the lack of weight loss, I
would find a new one to redo the surgery. My surgeon, Dr. Robert Marema in
St. Augustine Florida does a lot of ReDo's from people that had failed
surgery in the late 90's and early 2000's.

Sorry to hear about your weight gain. I do have something that would help
ultimately with your nutrition and the anemia, visit

I am sorry to hear of your situation, I hope you can find a surgeon to help
you, there are plenty out there that do revisions. A fistula can cause
problems, I think a previous poster missed that detail in her response.
Come over to: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/Graduate-OSSG and you will find
many others that have had revisions and have been in your situation. They
are a wonderful group of post-ops who don't judge, have tons of experience
and will help as much as you let them. They can also 'kick butt', if you
ask for it. Hope you find some help. Sorry you were judged so harshly by
someone on this board, some are not here to help, as you can see.
Blessings,
Anita
