Question:
Can your pouch shrink or is it I may need to be dilated again?
Ok, now don't laugh because this is really something that is on my mind. I just had a late lunch which consisted of instant mashed potatoes with vegetables in it (I added some cheese) and a few pieces of shredded chicken. Not really hungry, but I know I gotta eat something. The container listed 1.3 ozs. I'm surprised, I barely got through half but kind of forced it down since I only had 10 grams of protein this morning for breakfast...I was full. Of my 64 oz. of water today, I only put down 40ozs. This is till quite difficult getting in all of the "requirements" without the concern of stretching the pouch. I have my exercise class this evening, I'm doing like I should, but kind of uneasy about this new life of mine. Am I doing the right thing? Shouldn't I be concerned? Would appreciate hearing from others going through this period...oh, I'm 11 weeks out. — yourdivaness (posted on November 19, 2002)

I have the same problem sometimes, I will be 9 months post-op next friday
the 29th. and I am very seldom hungry, I eat because I know I should, my
meals today were as follows: I never eat breakfast(never could) 2cps of
coffee around 9:30 to 10:00am, I know coffee is a no no, but I gotta have
it!! 1cp of chicken broth at about 12:30 pm, 2pm 1oz of cheddar cheese, 1oz
of imitation crab, for supper I had 1/2 cp cream of chicken soup and 1/4 cp
of asparagus, my snack later on will be SF/FF jello, and lots of water!!!
my total calories for the day are around 500,sometimes less!!I also
exercise 6 days a week at a club here in town. You sound like your doing
pretty well with you eating and exercise routine, don't worry so much,
relax and stop thinking about evrything that goes into your mouth.. stay
way from high fats and sweets and you'll be fine.. post-op 02-27-02
pre-op 270 pounds now 121 pounds and size 3
