I don't know if this might be your problem, but I had a VBG in 1997 with
alot of complications. A few days after my surgery I started getting a
very heavy feeling in my stomach and I had no energy. I was passing very
loose, bloody stools. They did a bunch of tests and found nothing.
Exploratory surgery was done about 5 days after my first surgery and they
found a blockage in my intestines which had caused a perforation. My body
was septic. I also had C. difficile. I was all fixed up, but I did spend
about three weeks in the hospital. I don't want to scare you because this
is probably not your problem, but when you said "heavy stomach"
it brought back memories. You should get it checked out just to make sure
you're okay. By the way, I almost died during this incident and I am still
pursuing a revision to RNY. I am just saying this because I don't want to
scare anyone from having surgery. Even after all that happened to me, I am
still going to have my revision.
