Question:
is 67 yrs old to old for this surgery?

my Mother is 67yrs,5',200 lbs,smoker,insulan diabetic..the type that is caused from being heavy she has had 2 angioplasties..her breathing is terrible and she can't even walk 500 feet with out sitting down is she eligable for this surgery? Your mother would need to check with the surgeon on this. Unless the people on this web site are medical prefessionels they really cannot say yes or no. This can only be decided by the surgeon who would perform the operation.
