Question:
More than a question

I needed to elaborate on my earlier question... my doctor DID go over everything with me, I just have memory problems from a head injury 8 years ago, and didnt put the "label" of restriction together with what had been described. I apologize for my absentmindedness, but am also slightly offended at the suggestion that there was stupidity involved. I am NOT so far gone that I would commit to such a life changing surgery without having looked into every aspect of what was going on. And also, if you are going to suggest that someone is not smart enough to make an informed decision, the least you could do would be to include your name in the correspondence.    — TrinTx (posted on February 16, 2006)

Hello, Don't worry I'm sure they were just trying to make sure you are completely informed. Sometimes we all jump the gun. Congrats on your surgery, I thought I wanted the band route, but instead opted for the RNY as it was much more permanent for me. I needed all the help I could get!
