Question:
People in Cincinnati or Columbus Ohio...please respond

Hi, I need to find out which hospitals in the Cincinnati or Columbus areas have employee insurance which will cover either WLS. I am flexible as to which hospital to find a job at. This is really my only chance to have the surgery, so am willing to move or do what it takes in order to have it. Hope you all can help!    — LindaOH (posted on October 22, 2005)

You could try Kettering Medical Network. It's in the Dayton, Ohio area. I got my WLS done there, and on the bariatric unit, about 50% of all the staff had also had WLS. Also, I know the University of Columbus, or Cincinnati has a good WLS program... Maybe you could apply to one of their hospitals? Best to you, Amanda

Talk to some of the hospital employees. If you already have a surgeon, the staff at the office might know more. Usually someone who handles insurance has a good idea on what coverage groups have. Or call up the hospital directly and ask.
