I don't know what it might be, but you did ask what a "stricture"
is. (I've had tons of urinary ones). Imagine a "straw". Then put
your fingers around the middle and squeeze. The straw now has a stricture.
We can get them with WLS as you know and the food ether can't get in the
pouch or go out.

I know nothing about strictures, but have a question that ties in with
Kim's question. Wouldn't you also feel sick with a stricture? If food
isn't going out, wouldn't you feel full and bloaty and become sick? If it
isn't going in, wouldn't you feel a heartburn affect? I too get a slight
burning sensation to the right of my incision. Comes and goes. I have no
other symptoms, however. I thought it might be muscles trying to heal
since it sometimes happens after a nice strenuous walk. I am 2 1/2 months
post op and down 75. I feel great.
