Question:
I had surgery six and a half months ago. i have lost about 90 pounds but
can someone help me with a diet plan that they used to get back on track because now i find myself falling into old habits of doritos and cheese balls and i read how people take in 80 - 100 grams of protein and would like to know how. what are they eating. Also when you want to restart your puch by doing only liquids what does that consist of. Thanks — LAURA G. (posted on July 25, 2002)

Laura, when I am being very good, meaning staying away from the carbs, here
is what I eat: Breakfast-1 scrambled egg with 1 slice melted cheese topped
off with a tablespoon of chili. If snacking, a little fruit or nuts.
Lunch is grilled chicken over salad, or tuna salad with cottage cheese and
cucumbers, dinner is grilled chicken/fish or beef with a few tablespoons of
veggie. Add a protein shake at 25 grams of protein or a lo carb protein
bar and you have just had 75+ grams of protein with very little carb. BTW,
congrats on the 90 pounds!
