Question:
Anyone know of what type of exercise you can do to tighten up loose skin on the upper
arms? I've done great loosing so far but I have flabby skin on my upper arms. (I'm talking serious bat-wings here!) I know I can lift weights...like small dumb-bells but I would think that would just tighten the muscle. I'm talking about the skin that hangs under when you lift your arm up. Any suggestions? — Deniece H. (posted on June 25, 2001)

If it's just skin, it won't tone up. I have 3.5 extra inches on
mine...guess what I'm getting for Christmas! Brachioplasty - with or
without coverage from my insurance carrier.

The skin that hangs down will almost certainly not tighten up with
exercise. If you want it gone, you will have to have an arm lift
(brachioplasty). I did this 14 months ago and I have been delighted with
the results. Email me for a link to my pics if you want! Ann RNY 9/10/99
