Question:
Help, I am in so much pain. Especially at night.

My thigh/legt have had these pins and needles all day and night. I am in so much pain. The doctor gave me pain med, tylenol #3 but it does not help - any advice would be greatly appreciated. I am still hurting 7 weeks post op. 6/4/01 - thanks diane    — Surgery 2001 (posted on June 3, 2001)

Diane, you may be experiencing pain due to back injury (?) or herniated disc rather than anything to do with your surgery. In any case, I would seek some medical advice, especially as your pain medication is not working.

My husband said he had pins and needles in his thigh and down his leg and a lot of pain. It was a herniated disk. He was in a lot of pain and layed on ice for about a year till he had surgery. About the ice, wet a towel and wring it out , fold it flat and put it in a zip lock bag and freeze it. Much nicer than ice cubes. Go see your doc.
