Question:
I'm 3 1/2 months post op and still having bouts with nausea...why?
I had me surgery the end of January,I was sick to my stomach once in awhile right after surgery. All of a sudden I am feeling sick,constantly...and a big time lack of energy, almost a weak feeling inside. I take my vitamins from the doc and try to take all the needed protien but when I'm sick like this I have a hard time getting anything down. Why would it just start like this after 3 months? I can't take it! — [Anonymous] (posted on May 7, 2001)

So, how does water taste & feel? How does the protein supplement work
for you? Which kinds of textures are hanging up? Have you been scoped to
check and see if your outlet has snugged down a little too tight?

Could you be pregnant?

Sorry to hear about your nausea. I have had rare occurances with nausea
and had vomited only a few times. I am nearly 5 mos post op and just this
week I experienced something new. I woke up vomiting. I had nothing to
throw up, but I had the gag reflex for about 20 minutes. It was scary. I
think I just turned wrong in the bed and pinched my stomach. Everything
was back to normal after a few hours. When I am not drinking enough I just
feel bad. Not nec. nausea but weak. I just had my blood checked and have a
slight iron deficiency. Maybe that is why. Don't worry too much unless it
persists. Then check with your doc.
