Question:
exclusions in our policy. medically necessary

Ok, They turned me down due to exclusions in our policy. But the woman at the surgeons office said " if medically necessary". Has anyone here been through the same thing? If so how did you proceed? The term medical necessity in insurance can be deceiving. Some insurance comapanies leave that decision to the doctors, while others make that decision themselves. So if your doc says it's necessary, it's pointless unless your insurance company feels the same. I don't know about Cigna, you may need to inquire about that.
