Question:
ANYONE WILLING TO SHARE SAMPLES OF INSURANCE APPROVAL LETTERS

i am in the begining steps of the process, my pcp supports me in the choice for the Lap bypass, my surgeon and she feel i would make a good candidate. i think i'm nervous though as far as what to write to my insurance company. i dont have many co-morbs, so my main "leg to stand on" is the fact that i'm 100+ over weight and a bmi over 40. any advice???? all info and feedback will be greatly appreciated thanks jennifer    — [Deactivated Member] (posted on March 1, 2005)

The Doctors nurse or whatever she is. Was the one who submitted all my info to my insurance. You could just call them and ask if they approve the surgery. Then take it from there.
