Question:
Anybody else's IBS get worse post-op?

With brief periods of relief, brought on by taking Zelnorm, then adding Levsin, then adding Nexium and Zantac...and all the while using Benefiber 2 Tbsp. three times a day and Miralx once a day. I am, once again, in a belly agony stage. Last week, it was only every late afternoon and evening. Now it's after everything I eat. I developed IBS after a year post op. I never had it before but now I get it several times a month. I take two Aleve and it takes care of it for me. I don't know which is worse IBS or my painful period cramps. Hopefully we can find something that keeps us from getting it.

Mine did get worse for awhile (like the first six months)but now I am 9 months out and I am not have any problems. My doctor gave me dycoclomine to help out with the cramping. And i did the fiber drinks also. Hope this works for you.
