Question:
i am so scared i am going to gain my weight

i am 7 months post-op, lost 83#. i ate for lunch 4 oz of steak, 1/4 cup of peas, 1/4 mushrooms. is this too much? i don't want to fail. i have been worried for a month or so i can eat too much. please respond. thanks, connie    — Connie R. (posted on March 20, 2004)

I dont think that is too much at 7 months out. I could eat that then. I'll be 1 year April 2. I just think it is different for each person. I can eat a 6 inch sub now but I have a friend at work that cant and she is 4 months out more than me. and we had the same surgeon. And I am still losing weight just slower now.

it's ok, as time passes we eat more. I'm 15 months and can hold way more than I did in the beginning of my wls. The ticket to not gaining is watch what you eat. carbs, junk etc. The steak you ate is protein so that's safe. the question is what did you eat during the day. and how much you ate.
