My suggestion is very boring, but I'll make it anyway: Stay off the scale.
Fluctuations, even within the first two or three weeks, are not uncommon.
Plateaus are not uncommon that early, either, and they can happen anywhere
along the way. If it bugs you -- and it bugs most of us -- stay off the
scale, and weigh in only once a week. Better yet, stay off for weeks at a
time if you can (I did, in the beginning, for as long as I could stand it).
As long as you're eating and drinking correctly at whatever stage you're
at, you'll be losing, especially as a relatively new post-op.

If you were not getting in enough water, then your body was becoming
deydrated. You are probably able to tolerate the water better, so you body
is becoming re-hydrated. The flucutating of the body fluids is frustating,
but not unusual. Best advice....stay off the scale! If you wait and weigh
yourself once a month it will be so much more satisfying.

Just like the previous poster said, stay off the scale. I know it's hard to
fight the temptation, but try to weigh yourself only once every couple
weeks, it will really save you alot of frustration and confusion (I
sometimes need to listen to my own advice!) I gain 2lbs and lose it the
next day or lose two lbs. then gain it back ALLLLLLL the time. It's so
frustrating, but it doesn't matter. In the long run, I have lost 115lbs and
that's all that matters. You will lose your weight, do not worry. There are
so many factors that can have oour bodies fluctuate, but you are normal.
Goodluck to you!
