Question:
Gettin concerned about slow weight loss.

hi :) i know that people have stalls and it takes time to lose the weight but im 9 weeks post op only down 26 pounds..i have been able to eat fairly large amounts since the beginning but coz of that i have been careful eating i keep carbs under 20 a day drink my water..i know i should have exercised right away but i just started to..i eat only meat and cheese and veggies and eggs..i lost a pounds a few days ago the first one in quite a while and then gained it back today..im gettin nervous coz we supposedly only have like 6 month window to lose the most and im already over 2 months..i need to maxamize this weight loss asap but what more can i do?? my tummy has been sore for like 2 weeks now too..i have thrown up a few times so i thought maybe i just pulled some muscles..has anyone ever had problems like these?    — christine S. Christine, Stalls are perfectly normal at this point. When I was 8 weeks out I stopped losing for about 2 weeks. Be patient. Losing will start again. The "6 month window" is when you will lose the most quickly, but you will continue to lose for about 12-15 months so don't worry. You will get there. If you have concerns on how much you feel you can eat, talk to your surgeon or dietician. They are the best ones to sooth and reassure that fear.
