Hi there. I am scheduled for surgery on 3/24/03 and I too am nauseated all
the time. I have lost 12 ponds since my consultation. I think it is nerves.
This decision to have surgery is so hard to make, for some, and even harder
to except that you have made the decision. I pounder everyday am I doing
the right thing but I always come back to the same conclusion. I have not
been able to loose weight and keep it off on my own. I need help! And for
people like me who are very independent and strong. That is is a hard
statement to make, which has caused my nerves and emotions to be all over
the place. This is just my opinion, but I bet your nausea is your nerves
just like me. GOD BLESS

Hi...I am an anxious person (diagnosed panic disorder) and I aloready
talked to my PCP and he prescribed anxiety meds. AND I always have reflux
problems and am taking Prevacid for that. No need to be miserable. Talk to
your PCP or surgeon about this. Jamie

Helen, is there any possibility that you're pregnant? The condition you
describe sounds like me the first couple of months into my first pregnancy.
Being sick is not a normal state for most people and if it were me feeling
this way I believe I'd consult my PCP, just to be on the safe side. Even
if it is just nerves he can probably prescribe something to make you more
comfortable. Best of luck to you.

Hello, I'm the orginal poster, nope can't be PG, I had a hysterectomy last
January. I'm starting to think its all the vitamins I've been taking
pre'op. If I take a over the counter Tagament or Pepcid it gets better for
awhile. But I will talk to my Doctors about it,I just hope its not an
ulcer. I've never had one, don't want to start 3 weeks pre-op.
