Question:
Does this sound like hernia pain?

I am almost 8 months post-op (open RNY) and have an incisional hernia, it's pretty large, for the last couple of days I have been hurting in that general area although it seems to radiate under the ribs and up the chest (I don't have a gallbladder). It feels like pressure, like I have eaten so much that I am about to pop. I am just wondering if this could be caused by my hernia, I haven't eaten anything today except for a slice of cheese. It sounds like the same pain I have and I also have a hernia.

I'm really concerned that the whole day had went by and you'd eaten so little! Personally, if I had a feeling like that, I would certainly be calling my doctor first thing tomorrow, especially if it's keeping you from eating. Good luck!
