Question:
How much does everyone else eat at 7 and a half months post, in ozs
I am 7 and a half months post op, and want to know how much should I eat at a time and how many times a day and what to eat. My dr says to eat 3ozs 3 times a day and maybe a small snack like fruit or fat free stuff in between but I find now that I can eat more! Someone please tell me what to do or give me some suggestions. I am almost 7 months post-op and I, too, do not measure my food. My diet
is similar to the last poster. For breakfast, I eat 1 scrambled egg with a
1/2 slice of melted cheese and a tablespoon of chili on top. For lunch,
either 1/2 a meat sandwich (yes, with mayo and bread-crust removed) or
grilled meat over salad. Dinner is 3/4 of a Lean cuisine or a few ounces
of meat with a veggie. Snacks: 1/2 of a protein bar, nuts, Wow tortilla
chips with FF black bean dip, fruit, bite size cookies, SF chocolate, SF
ice cream and popcorn. I usually have 2 or 3 snacks a day. 3 meals and 3
or 4 snacks a day. One of the reasons to have this surgery was to not
"diet" again. Weighing food and eating alot of fat free stuff is
too much like a diet to me. 77 pounds lighter and still losing.
