How much does everyone else eat at 7 and a half months post, in ozs

I am 7 and a half months post op, and want to know how much should I eat at a time and how many times a day and what to eat. My dr says to eat 3ozs 3 times a day and maybe a small snack like fruit or fat free stuff in between but I find now that I can eat more! Someone please tell me what to do or give me some suggestions. Thank you!
