Question:
Aetna USHC...Has anyone been approved for lap-band surgery through Aetna?

Due to previous abdominal surgery, my surgeon feels the lap-band would be best for me. The surgery that I had was an RNY to the pancreas (had cysts on pancreas). Hi Belinda, I was looking for an answer to the exact same question. I have been denied by Aetna and today found out my appeal was denied too. I have not yet received the letter of denial so I don't know where I stand at the moment but I do not intend to give up easily.
