Question:
I have a few tatoos on my lower back, above my bottom- will they get really distorted

I have about 5 tattoos- two down by my feet which I am not so worried about, and three on my lowerback/upper bottom. Is this a place where tattoos are likely to get very distorted? What will happend to them? Will they shrink, move to a different spot, get longer or thinner? Anyone who has had experience with the incredible shrinking tattoos, please let me know. It depends on how your skin stays after surgery. I have seen pictures (though I can't remember where - but I know it was a member of this sight) of a lady who had the lower back tattoos done and they got very distorted and then when she had a lower body lift it just got removed. I hate to think that my tattoos are going to get distorted too, but... in the scope of the big picture, it was a small price to pay.

Hi, I have 14 Tat's and so far there has been no distortion. I am 3 months post op have lost 78lbs plus 25 before surgery and I have 72 more to go to hit my personal goal so I guess something could happen but it doesn't seem like it. When I hit goal I think I will get a new one to celebrate :) Becky
