Question:
does anyone else dump like this

Sometimes after I eat I get flushed. I can actually feel my temperature go up and my face and chest get red. I also feel a little lightheaded, almost high. I think this is dumping, it only lasts about 20 minutes, and weird as it is it is NOT unpleasant, just strange. On the other hand I'm 40 so I wonder if it could be hot flashes, but it didn't start til after surgery. Anyone??? lol    — Becky K. (posted on November 26, 2001)

Hi there! I have not had surgery yet (just got the O.k. today,YEAH!) But, I am 38 and you just described my hot flashes, somewhat mild, but boy they will grow longer and hotter! Go to your doctor, and have them check hormone levels..IF they say no, you are to young..make them do it. There is some great stuff out there for hot flashes.I use something not sold in stores, but it is natural and works great. If you cannot find anything to work, let me know. Tricia Roberts

I get that same exact feeling, so to me it sounds normal since I'm only 24! But that's how I describe it too, like I'm high or something and it doesn't last long for me either!

This is also exactly what happens to me, but only after I have eaten something with a little too much fat. I was at a Mexican restaraunt and everyone thought something was wrong with me since I was turning so red!
