What have you eaten in the way of regular food? If it is high in sodium (any pork products like ham, bacon, etc.) or if you use a lot of salt on your food, you may have some water retention because of that. Think too about where you are in reference to your monthly cycle. If it is close, fluid retention is very common. Check your fluid intake. Are you drinking enough water? When I started solid foods, it was hard for me to get in all my water. My doctor wants no drinking for 30 minutes before and 90 minutes after eating. I was still taking naps and couldn't manage enough water between the meals and the naps. Don't panic. If you are doing the right things, the weight will drop. The way to get rid of fluid retention is to drink more water. Hang in there, you'll do fine.

Relax, if your still eating small amounts in comparison with pre op your fine. Water weight can bounce you pounds up and down, and getting dehydrated can increase the scale. Your body tries to hold onto as much moisture as possible. Scales vary a bit day to day, and its better to only get weighed once a week or so. But that is VERY hard to do.

It could be around your time of the month, I seem to get real hungry, plus the water retention and all that goes along with it.
