Dear Beth I first read your postings because of the ICE drinks you mentioned. My partner lost over 200 pounds and loves these drinks but only two flavors. the other two flavors that come in the case she does not like. I had surgery last sulmmer and am doing well. I am a slow loser due to meds that I need to be on. I had a similar struggle to get surgery and had gone through the process with one surgeon and even went as far as stress test the week my Dad died. The insurance company would not cover surgery tho I met all critera. I then started with another surgeon and had surgery within two months (last Aug. 13) Somehow fighting so hard and wanting the surgery so much left me with a sense of peace and serenity when I finally had the surgery. I was resigned to not having the surgery but knew I wanted it more than anything. I was 59 and the cut off with most surgeons is age 60. I pray you are healing well and know that soon you will enjoy all that you wished for in your journal and have a new life with your daughter. know that the surgery date is your new birthday So happy birthday.
