Take a deep breath in and exhale slowly! I was nervous too (not too much though) but once I woke up I was fine. It's been almost 2 yrs and 130 lbs. ago and I have no regrets. I wish you nothing but the best and hope that you'll let us all know how you're doing afterwards. Hugs, Susan

the first week I spent laying on a mattress on the floor and I didnt want anyone to breathe on me, it totally gets better the more you move, but it does take time. journal your journey, plot your progress, you will go through mood swings, and plateaus but while it is a PITA during the process, the great news is that here I am 9 months out and hysterically happy to be below goal. it will come.

Good Luck with your surgery!! Speedy recovery prayers being sent your way. I have surgery Tuesday March 13, So we are probably on the same emotional roller coaster, but I also have a calm over me that I know THIS is the best chance for me to be a healthier ME. Again Good Luck. Hugs Phyllis
