Hi Christie, I had surgery about the same time as you did and we are on the same track. I am 7 weeks out and down 35#s. It has been slow but as long as it is going down I am happy. I also had no problems with food except if I ate too fast. Keep us posted and keep up the good work!!!!!!!!

Well, it’s official! You’re on the losing side. The trumpets are blaring, the cymbals are crashing and the drums are drumming – all for YOU! I hope that all went well for you! You’ve been out of surgery now for a little over a month – YIPPIE!!! Your journey will have moments to “pause” – I’d like to impart some words of wisdom for when it does occur - remember these wise words whispered by Confucius – “It does not matter how slowly you go so long as you do not stop.” Be patient. You didn’t put it on over night, it won’t come off over night (DARN IT!)…Don’t forget to update your profile at least monthly and take lots of pictures…the transformations will make your jaw drop!!! RNY 10/31/03 – down 108 pounds AND AN OFFICIAL MEMBER OF THE CENTURY CLUB!!! Good luck

Hi Christie, thanks for your "post". Yep, I know I need to exercise more, just so HOT !!! I also have a 2/12 yr. old & was afraid of her jumping on me, which she did....ooowwwweeeeeeee! Now she says "Mama hurt?" Anyway, I appreciate your words of encouragement. I weighed on MY scales just now & they "say" 23 pounds gone. Tuesday, 6/28 is my 4 week post op anniversary. Keep up your good work. Oh, I may not be eating enough(never thought those words would come from ME, mainly just drinking carb shakes, crystal light, sugar free jello & pudding. Go bsck to my Doc 7/7....hope he doesn't "scold" me, I'm a sensitive Fatty.

Hi Christie - hope your surgery went well and you are on your way to skinny and healthy. Did you go to Glencoe High School? I graduated in 83 and when I saw your picture I said to myself, "I know her." Best of luck on your journey.

Hi Christie! Congrats on having your surgery! I bet you feel relieved now. It's over and now you are on the other side and can join the ranks of the losers. Welcome, my friend!!! Happy RE-Birthday to you! From this day forward you life will change forever. Just try to take it easy and remember to sip, walk, deep breathe and cough. These first few days are rough, but I assure you they get better with each passing day. I just wanted you to know that I was thinking about you today and that you are in my thoughts and prayers for an uncomplicated, swift recovery. You are an official loser!! Wishing you much success in your weight-loss journey. Soft hugs to you today. God bless, DI from NJ - Lap RNY, 12/09/03
