Dear Kirk...I'm so relieved that you are feeling better. A lot of us were worried for you last night, but this morning as soon as I got on I read what Sandy had to write about you and immediately knew you were going to be ok. Sandy is doing such a good job, and so is Cindy D. Anyway, I'm so happy for you, and I can't wait to chat with you again and hear all about the start of your wonderful new life. Wow where to begin....Kirk is doing wonderful no stomach pain and his incision has no pain the only pain he is having to endure is his hind end and his right leg he has a pinched nerve from laying so long in bed .... the ONLY thing that will help this is for him to move and he is doing excellent I already talked to him this morning and he said he got up in the middle of the night by hisself...they took the engyo tube out yesterday afternoon and he is on icechips ....they also took his pain med away he was not using it anyway... because the pain meds was not helping his hind end so I am glad they took it... Kirk is really doing wonderful he is doing everything he is suppose to be doing Mark and I got him up yesterday before he left he took two steps and sit in another chair he said it felt wonderful we all know how hard and uncomfortable those beds are.... he told us he already misses us and it was hard to leave him...his mom is keeping us informed and told him if he does need us to call we would be back in a heart beat for him...This man has blessed my life and touched my heart Kirk I love you and buddy you will always be in my heart ((HUGS MY FRIEND))...Talk Soon....Sand(OK)

Crow, I just prayed for you, honey. You have been in my heart and my thoughts. I can't tell you how happy I was to hear you were safely over to the other side!! Please take it slow and easy and hurry back to us :) Godspeed...

Kirk, So happy that you are doing well!!! I've been out of town since Friday and couldn't get to a computer. Been going crazy wondering how you were doing...so happy that you made it through surgery so well. Just remember too walk, walk and then walk some more. God's with you Kirk, and so are all your friends on chat. We love you, so hurry back home so we can chat and call you a loser... Love ya,Zenita

SPoke to Sandy and her and Mark were heading back to Arkansas when they left Kirk aka CROW he was doing good they said he remained on oxygen because his levels were a bit low but he did get up twice before they left to walk a few steps to sit down , he also had some ice chips. Sandy stayed all night with him again and kept him company he said on a scale of 1-10 10 being the worse his pain was about a 3 so all is looking good. Cindy D

Wow its 3:30 am on Saturday Night I stayed with Kirk last night and he had a rough night he had a better day today he gets frustrated because he wants to move but he has been laying so long he has numbness on his right side and can't feel his leg we got him rotated enough to stff pillows under him and he is now sleeping like a baby his breathing is much better he is on treatments every four hours the night nurses are the best day nurses suck.... he has the engyo tube still not sure when they will take it out he is so thirsty I am swabbing his mouth every 1/2 hour to keep it moist and his room is like a refrigerator cause he gets hot so keeping a cold rag on his forehead...his knees are bothering him he went to try and stand today and couldn't he got dizzy having a strong reacton to the anstetic and Morophine ...so not letting him have it unless he is hurting bad ,,, his pain is about a 3 on a scale of 1-10 ..and 10 been strongest.... I just wanted to let everyone know he is stiff but overall he is great and to let HIM KNOW I AM SO PROUD OF HIM !!!!!! Will post again soon!
