Hi, I just wanted to say I went to the doctors office yesterday and as of Dec. 19, I have lost 57 pounds. I could have lost more but I am not drinking as much water as I should. But I will do better. Well I want to tell you Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. I will be thinking of you and praying you will have a great year coming up. I am so excited to keep loosing weight and getting more self confidence. Well enough rambling on. Take good care of yourself. Keep in touch. Wendy

Hi there, how is it going? Well I am still praying for you. Hope all is well. Well I am dwon 53 pounds in 6 weeks. I do not go back to the doctor until January. I am not weighing myself until then because I do not want to use any other scales. I am doing well... except Saturday I was helping move furniture and I think I pulled something. I called the doctor and He said to wait and see if the pain goes away in a few days. I hope so, if not he said it could become hernitated (oops!spelling). Well let me know how things are going with you. Wendy

CROW!!!!! You are an inspiration to me. I am a big ol boy and had the wls on 10-9-01. I started out at 450 lbs and have lost 84 lbs so far. My wife laughs at my pants and calls me a "RODEO CLOWN". She says I should donate my pants to them!!. I also have to use suspenders to hold my pants up and the underware are worse!!! I am not complaning, just laughing at myself. My wife also had this surgery on 06-28-01 and has lost 76 lbs. She gets frustrated because I (and most men) lose faster than women. I tell her is is because I have more to lose than her, I started out at a higher weight. We have been married since 1966 and got fat together now we are getting slim together. BLESS YOU AND KEEP UP THE GOOD FIGHT!! (LA MESA, CA.)

HI EVERYONE THIS IS CROW AKA KIRK THOMPSON,JUST WANTED TO UPDATE EVERYONE ON MY PROGRESS. 44 DAYS SINCE MY SURGERY AND IM FEELING GREAT,MY LEGS ARE GETTING MUCH STRONGER EVERY DAY AND I HAVE LOST 120 POUNDS IN A LITTLE OVER A MONTH WHICH AMAZES ME BUT HEY I LOVE IT!!! LOST 9 INCHES IN MY WAIST ALSO AND NEED SUSPENDERS FOR MY SWEATS AND UNDERWEAR..LOLOL. AGAIN I WOULD LIKE TO THANK YOU ALL FOR YOUR LOVE ,PRAYERS AND SUPPORT THESE PAST FEW MONTHS,COULDN'T HAVE DONE THIS WITHOUT YOU ALL.TAKE CARE ALL AND GOD BLESS.

Hi, I also had surgery on the 19th. I have been praying for you and hope your new journey is going the way you wanted. How is your recovery coming along? Please let me know. I have lost 35 pounds so far. I feel real good. The doctor released me to go back to work on Monday, I can't wait, I drive a school bus and I miss the kids very much. I am also able to eat solid foods now. I hope you are doing ok. Have a great day. Wendy

Hey Crow, I am so happy you are home, I was thinking of you the day after my surgery and boy baby, it is going to be wonderful, sure hope you are feeling better and my thoughts are with you, walk, walk, walk. Love ya sweetie
