Gail, Today is our "rebirthday". I say that in the plural because we share the same surgery date. I hope this past year has been as exciting for you as it has been for me. The quote that got me through the year was ~Be not the slave of your own past, plunge into the sublime seas, dive deep, and swim far, so you shall come back with self-respect, with new power, with an advanced experience, that shall explain and overlook the old.~ Ralph Waldo Emerson. May it always be true!

I wish you a very speedy recovery, and more then that I wish for you to get all of the happiness you deserve from this courageous decision. Hold your head high, you have broken the bonds of pain that have kept you down and have risen above that in order to make your life better. That is a choice not all have the courage to make. And for those that have not yet arrived at their date...you are an inspiration. All my positive energy and happiness for you, William (RNY - 09/20/04 - 372/268/191) "Don't be afraid your life will end; be afraid that it will never begin."
