Stephany, it's Neci...I haven't forgotten you and never will. It was so very hard to get through the day of your anniversary, and just as hard the anniversary of your death...I still have your email address in my contacts. We never met face to face but I feel we were friends forever. I love and miss you. Neci

My sympathy goes out to Stephany and her family, she seemed to be doing so well. Would be interested to know if her death was from complications of her WLS

To Stephany's family - I'm so sorry to hear about Stephany's death. I can only hope and pray that God will comfort you during this time. Making this decision to have weight loss surgery is a really tough one, but it's also a courageous one, because we are choosing to believe that it's possible to be heathier and feel better about ourselves. I hope that you will always remember that Staphany was trying to find her way to that healthier body, just so she could have many more years with you all. I will be thinking of her and praying for you all.

First, I would like to extend my thanks and appreciation for all the thoughtful posts I have read here this morning about Steph. I know there isn't an hour go by that she is not in my thoughts. Second, when I spoke with Pete a few weeks ago, he shared with me that they had found a blood clot in her lung the thursday afternoon that she went into the hospital. But it was a second clot that went to her heart on Friday that did it. Third, I myself am 5 weeks post-op, and while I am fairly new to this website, it has helped me tremendously already. May God bless each and everyone of you that touched or were touched by my daughters life. Ann... Stephany's mom
