I just had a big click in my head!
One of the tenets of a 12 step program is that as you recover you need to give back support to others. In giving back support you are also helping yourself continue to heal.

Hi everyone :) I used to be on these boards a lot. I have migrated to doing a lot of crossfit and just need a lot more fuel to support my gainz -- positive gym based gains ;) I'm the strongest that I have ever been in my life.

I had my VSG a few years ago. My husband is having the same procedure in about a week and a half with Dr. Ramos Kelly. Does anyone have any tips / tricks for the companion of someone going through this?

Well last week started off really well. The weekend, a wedding and mothers day - were fun! but not great on the diet. I ended up losing 1.3 lbs for the week, so I guess it is a success. Here's to another week -- gotta tighten up a bit again!

Wohoo -- 197.8 on the scale today. Inching back away from the crazy 200 mark.

Woah! I woke up this morning to 199 on the scale. Eek - wake up call.
I was in vegas last week where the food choices weren't great. Then on Friday I was called into work to be let go! Eek - stressful weekend to say the least.</

Ugh -- so it happened to me. I'm about 2.5 year out (not quite). And a year and 4 months out from plastic surgery and I've fallen into the regain group.

I hope everyone is doing well! I haven't been on the boards here in a while, but I used to be constantly! I got a new job and a boyfriend and time has just been super busy.

I remember ignoring the scale. Planning on starting on Monday. Monday coming and maybe sticking to it for a day or two then messing up and letting myself lose a week or two just completely having whatever I wanted.

Well 20 months out things still aren't easy. The cravings come back, the hunger comes back and I can eat more. It is no where near as hard as it was before. While I get hungry and can eat more I still can not do anywhere near the damage I did before
