Hi everyone, a quick update on Jeremy, I spoke to Roberta and his Mom this morning and he is feeling a little bit better today - they are trying to take him off the ventilator so that he can try to breathe on his own, he will be allowed pain meds using the pump, which hopefully will give him some relief! They are all being strong, and although uncomfortable Jeremy is okay. They think it will be at least another two weeks in the hospital for him, and the hospital is two hours from their home, and the length of his stay was quite unexpected, at least one week will be in the ICU and if all goes well they will move him to a regular ward. Jeremy does not have a phone and is not allowed flowers in his room, but if any of you would like to send him a get well card or would like to help his folks out in any way please email me and I will give you the address where he is.
