Well everyone let me first appologize for not updating.. i have been through so much physically and mentally that i just have kept myself in hiatus from making anyone including myself think something positive will happen until now.. .. first off i have not yet been seen by my surgeon or any other. my wife and mother have only spoken to his secretary. my weight is over 750 and the water is getting worse because i am becoming immune to the lasix... my pain is beyond help of even morphine patches and i am almost fully bedridden. at first i was told it will be a long time till i see cook because i was on the bottom of the list... this upset me knowing that i was told once medicaid said yes that i could see him and then online i found out other people saw him before medicaid approval and still doing their tests... i felt betrayed... my mentality caused my stress to get too high so i said hell with this i will just wait and quit getting high hopes.. a few weeks ago my mother started calling again due to my body becoming worse... they finally talked to cook and he said he has a new partner who "may" be able to see me if hes not busy... which means cook is too busy for me....i recntly saw my doctor and that same day my mom spoke to cooks office again... i found out my doc called the head person at osu and got on them about me because if this is not treated soon i am going to die.. now supposedly around the 20th of this month every bariatric surgeon at osu including cook and his partner will meet and decide who wants to save my life... its good news but i feel like a rag doll being tossed around to the person who finally decides to play God with me. i wish i could have had this done sooner because the more i wait the worse i get and my going back to college becomes more less of a chance each month... i thank you all for your support and hope you keep me in your thoughts and maybe prayers... my faith is shot so i need all the help i can get now ...thank you all and keep fighting the good fight.....Jeremy

Jeremy, I've been wondering how you are doing. Please let us know what's going on with getting in to see your surgeon. I'm praying for it to be soon, somehow. I'm here if you need me!

Hey Jeremy! Congrats on your date, and hope all goes well. I have been big all my life, and am going to have my surgery Sept 28th, and I cant wait to be able to buy regular clothes at a store, not catalog, and to be able to walk more, etc.. You know how it is. I agree, people dont understand, but its for better health too! Good luck, and hope to be posting again soon! www.ImLosingIt.net

Hi Jeremy, I will definately be praying for you. You also need to have faith that things will work out for the best. I know that you have probably heard this a million times but here's one million and 1. All things happen for a reason! Don't worry put your faith in God he know what's best and will work things out. Jeremy, Sweetie, I am so sorry that you have to wait so long!! Here is an idea: Why don't you write a letter to your surgeon, emphasizing how important it is for you to have this surgery. I know there are others before you, but I am willing to bet they would step aside and let you go first. I know I would. PLease don't give up. Write a letter to your surgeon, telling him how crucial it is you have this surgery ASAP. Who knows? Maybe it would help. I am here for you if you need a friend. ((HUGS))
