Hi Sharon, Thank you so much for your warm and beautiful greeting. It truly is a wonderful feeling to know that people I've never met are rooting for me, and saying a prayer for a smooth surgery and rapid recovery. I'm nervous! Also, I went to your webpage, and found so much helpful information there. Thankl you for taking the time to put all of that together. I also noticed how woderfully generous you have been in your support of others. So you are beautiful - both on the inside and the outside! I also congratulate you on your weight loss. 70 pounds in 4 months sounds INCREDIBLE to me! How are you feeling these days? Thanks again for your note. I know that God is blessing you, my dear! With love, Kristi Rickert

October 26th. Dear Sharon: Comn-on Sharon, you and I both know that a 70 lb loss is incrediable!!! If you feel that some people are not giving you the recognition you deserve---THAN POINT IT OUT TO THEM!!! Don't let them get away with attempting to sabatoge your new, healthy self esteem. You deserve so much more than that----so let them know. Say: 'See what I've done!' Believe me, if you show people how proud you are of your accomplishments, they will have no choice but to recognize them. Good job Sharon! Sincerely, Lori Ann

Hi Sharon, You silly, silly girl! Go get a 70 lb bag of whatever and throw it up on your shoulder and carry it around for an hour! Getting tired? Uh, YEAAAHH! Just think you used to carry that 70 lbs 16 hrs a day! WAAAA HOOOO! You are doing fabulous! I know it hurts to not have the people you love notice such a huge accomplishment. I would be crushed too. But focus on YOU now....this is your time and you should be D--- proud of yourself Sharon. You can deal with "those people" later on down the road. Bt the way, I see your name everywhere on surgery pages and I just want to thank you for being one of the TOP supporters here on this site! You're an angel! Big Hug! Carol Percel

Sharon, I feel exacatly the same way. I have only lost 54 lbs. but have gone down 4 pant sizes. I put pictures up on a family web site so they could see the change (I live in the west them in the east). Only one person out of the 10 family members I told about pictures only one said anything at all. NO ONE at my work (and I work as a receptionist so everyone see me a lot) has said anything at all! It is really frustrating isn't it! We want to be noticed!!!! Oh well, as long as we feel better that is what matters the most Keep up the good work! Tami

Congratulations on your weight loss! I think you have done fantastic. I would not pay any mind to those that don't acknowledge your loss. Losing 70lbs. shows... Could be the green eyed monster is raising its head....Keep up the good work.Leslie Elwood

Hi Sharon. Thank you for replying to my post. Your advise coincides with the things that I have been doing to try to stay busy, so maybe I'm going to keep my sanity while waiting for approval. I think that the most important thing that you said to me was to stay positive. Sometimes the fear makes me forget to keep my spitits up. Thanks for reminding me. God bless.
