Hi Sharon! I enjoyed your post on the message board this evening about what you're thankful for. I wanted to relay this story to you that happened to me today. This afternoon, while with a client (I'm a counselor); This client is dying from AIDS, and has led a very difficult life. Well, she finally was telling me about her three children (whom she had lost parental rights too about 12 years ago). Anyway, when she finished talking, she looked at me and said in the sweetest manner: "You're really blessed." Then she refered to my loving husband, and our two children. I really took a double take, because just that morning I was grumbling and feeling sorry for myself because I'm the only one working, my husband's depressed because he can't find a job, the kids' were driving me bonkers etc.; But, when she told me "You're really blessed" my heart jumped and I realized what she was saying was so really true! I really am blessed----and I'm going to start showing my appreciation in some manner/way/method (love) in whatever I'm doing. I shouldn't be so selfish---always thinking about me---me---me!!! Thank you for your post, it brought back the reminder that that client gave me today and added even more to the reminder you gave me this evening. Much love, Lori Ann
