Hi Sharon, I just wanted to say thank you for all of the great emails that you send. Everytime that I email you back I get the failed mail error email. Yeah Sharon!! 102 lbs. down, and feeling good about yourself. Isn't this surgery a miracle? The emotional aspects of feeling comfortable with yourself are almost as good, if not better, than the physical aspects of being smaller, feeling better, and having more energy. I'm glad you're doing so well, I always follow your profile and keep up with your posts, as someone who had their surgery around the same time as me. You are inspiring a whole new group of newbies! Sharon - I wanted to take a minute and thank you for welcoming me to AMOS. Sorry it has taken so long. You posted back in Jan. and here it is in Feb. I took a tour of your website and all I can say is WOW! I know it will be a touchstone for me along my journey and I will visit many times to find my way along the path. Thanks again!!

Hi Sharon, I am just writing to let you know how PLEASED I have been with Alvarado. They all seem to be so nice. My calls have been returned, they have sent out my letter of necessity,actually Koreena faxed it Wednesday. Even though I am 99% sure they wont cover my surgery, they still encouraged me to give it a try. I am now just waiting, boy it seems like this has taken forever. We are probably looking at March sometime. Tomorrow would be good!!! How many days in advance did you have to be there? I have been on the internet with map quest planning the trip.. and even found a great hotel with a virtual tour.. on video cam... great price for hospital patients too... only $64.00 a night. Days Inn in La Mesa 1.3 miles to the Hospital. All rooms are suites with kitchenetts and little living rooms...looks great even has a nice private pool and hot tub...Well today I am going to get some of my clothes together... and by the way I am using your lists on your web site for what to bring.very very helpful!!!.. Really tomorrow would be fine with me.. I feel I am so ready to go!!! What was your diet like for the first two weeks after? I have noticed that all surgeons are different... well thanks for letting me bend your ear, and have a great weekend!!!! Karen Wyatt
