As I read the message board and think about the people who get the WLS is a bad idea, I realize how lucky I am. I am pretty open about the whole thing and so far, at least to my face, no one has said anything negative or tried to talk me out of it. My sister in law is a nurse and has been incredible supportive.
My wife and kids are supportive and seem genuinely excited for me.
