I FINISHED TODAY THE LAST OF THE DIET SHEETS THAT THE STATE NEEDS FOR APPROVAL, THE STAFF AT DR. AKKARY'S OFFICE WILL BE SENDING MY INFORMATION OUT ON FRIDAY FOR APPROVAL.

I went to my nurse Pract today, and I have lost 10 pounds according to her and I really feel good about it, I need to lose more weight, and keep feeling better about it. :) I am trying even harder to watch what I am eating :) I need to get out there and walk more, I know I don't walk when it's hot, but try to wait until the sun and temps go down a little. Just need to work harder :)

I feel so blessed today, first thing I done this morning, was come here, and I found a wonderful prayer to all of us.  My day as been blessed all day, with me feeling so good today, and wanting to do things, not like it has been the last few weeks, I am up moving around, playing with my dogs, getting things to drink on my own, just over all feel so good.  I feel the prayer and our Lord God is listening, and I know that he will bless me in my future of weight loss, and be blessed to have friends like her.

I had some what of a bad weekend, bored and just plan lazy.  I hope yours was better, I started of my day today drinking lots of water, (a bottled water) and will drink more during the day trying to get away from coffee, and tea.  I have heard somewhat good news from the Staff at Dr. Akkary's office, they are hoping that I have a surgery Date, the 2nd week of August no later then the 3rd week.  That is great news to me, just about two weeks left of dieting sheets, then they can try to get it approved.

I know that it's a big change in my life that is coming, and I must be willing to listen, up and follow directions to the max from Dr. Akkary, and his wonderful Staff at WVU. I am looking forward to work, hard to get the weight off and returning back to work, and to work hard going out and walking and things.

I know it's not going to be easy, but I am willing to give it my all and make this work for me, and for me to live without a CPAP, or pain all the time will be great.

I have now been sick for a week, and my Nurse Pract just thinks it might be the flu, or something else,  but she never rain any test. I need a new doctor.

I have gained 16 pounds in three weeks, she told me to day it was fluid in my body, but done nothing about it, with my fluid pill. :( she told me it was because I am fat, and my stomach is resting on the top part of my legs, so the fluid can't come back from my feet to my kidneys, so put my legs up very high, and rest it there for a while.

I have been watching my diet, doing well not lose staying the same. :( I don't know what to do any more, seems like my surgery is so far away, while I feel that I am dieing inside my own body right now.  Not able to move all that good, without my legs, knees, feet, and back hurt so very much, because of the weight. My Nurse Pract will not give me anything for pain, so it's hard for me even to get out and walk on the road to try to lose weight, I had a hip replacement in Sept 2007, and it hurts really bad, but she will not give me anything, just tells me do deal with it, it's part of being big, and fat.

Please if anyone reads this, please tell me how to help my self, tell me how to keep living, at this point I am giving up, and feel that nothing right is going to happen.

Well, I have done what was needed of me, for the my surgery in the State of WV.  My Doctor which is Dr. Ehab Akkary MD, at Ruby Memorial Hospital POC Building is great.  I have been in contact with his staff from the start.  If you are looking for a great surgeon then he is the one you want.  You can contact him at 304-839-6386.

I am having the gastric sleeve done, which we felt was the best for me.  And, I agree with Dr. Akkary.  I had to have another sleep study done, for my Nurse Pract.  I have had a lot of problems breathing with the hot weather we have been having.  So, my pressure went from 11 here at home to 20 on my CPAP.  And, I am sleeping better, breathing better, feel more awake during the day, and alert.

I hope anyone thinking of having any weight lose surgery in the State of WV, or MD that you all contact Dr. Akkary, and his staff you will find no other people that are real, concerned, and out standing service to each person they come in contact with, I have there emails, and even my doctor's cell phone number in case I need anything, YOU WILL NOT find another Dr, as good and wonderful as Dr. Akkary.

Today, June 4th I had my EGD scope, it went very well and Dr. Akkary was great. Now I am just waiting to see what is left for me to do so that I might be able to have the gastric sleeve done.  Thank you Dr. Akkary.

I saw a physic on Tuesday, and I really enjoyed her input about the surgery that I am having.  I now have been scheduled for my stomach scoop on the 4Th of June, which I hope will turn out good.  The Physic told me that she thinks that I am a good person for the surgery, and it's my last attempted for better health. So, I am happy that DR. Akkary will be the one doing my scoop and doing my surgery.

Today I started taking 10 units of insulin, I know for now that I must do it, and follow everything that i was told to do, from here on out. I know my doctor, said that over the next two weeks I might have to adjust it, by 3 units every three days, until it's down to 120. but I will do, thank you all of the support that you have given to me on this site.
