<P>Please be sure to say a prayer of thanks! My doctor has assured me that I most assuredly do NOT have cancer!!! He believes the same thing I've been wondering about, that my spleen was likely injured during my weight loss surgery (which was done laproscoptically), and that is probably what caused the blood loss during surgery (four pints). Further, he believes the injury probably softened up and turned into a cyst. He said my lymph nodes are not THAT swollen (one centimeter) and that they may be slightly enlarged because of the compressed portion of my left lung, the lung with fluid still in it. In two weeks I'll have an X-ray to check on that. In six months I'll have another MRI to take one more look at the spleen. Yahoo! God is more than good!!!</P> <P>What's more, I've lost 4 more pounds since Monday!!! Total loss of 82 pounds, 56 since my surgery day. Life is good! </P> <P>Thanks to everyone who prayed for me, wrote to encourage me and for those who thought good thoughts for me. I appreciate you all more than you'll ever know!</P>

Rhia, keep your chin up. Best wishes and good thoughts are being sent your way as you make your journey to health and wellness. I am four months post-op, down 64 lbs, and so glad I decided to do this, after thinking about it for a few years. Educate yourself, really read and understand everything about the procedure you have chosen to have, and trust yourself that you have made the right choice. {{{Hugs}}}

Hi Rhia I am so sorry sweetie your going through so much right now.I am praying all of this will be over soon and you will heal quickly.You have done so much for this web site.I know the Lord will see you through. He was with me through my darkest time He will be their for you too because He loves you. LORD BLESS

Dear Rhia...I'm very sorry to hear about your aunt. And also about your health problems. One thing about health issues and plateaus...if you are fighting an infection, then your body often tries to prevent you from losing resources...Beautiful nails. Take care! Katherine
