Congrats on your upcoming surgery. I know that you are probably nervous and anxious at the same time. Just know you are not alone, you are not the first to be nervous and you will not be the last. It is expected to be anxious, but it is a good anxiety. Take everything given to you in stride. Know that you have made a good decesion on the good days as well as the bad. Remember that you made this decesion for a healthier, better you. Believe me when I tell you the end result is WONDERFUL!!! Adrienne

Hi Kathleen - welcome to Dr Oh's group of successful WLS patients! I wish you luck in your pursuit of finally getting the weight off for good. I, also, had to pay for the surgery out of pocket but I know it is worth every cent. I was banded on 6/20/06 - last Tuesday and am already starting to feel better. Good luck to you. Lucy
