Yeah, I got a phone call this morning from the psych's office... so tomorrow is my first meeting with my nutritionist group and then next monday with the psych people... things are progressing!!!

Well I have my appointment with the nut on Tuesday.  I've done my stress test and had to go back and have a cardiogram taken.  Haven't heard the results and hoping all is okay. I see that group again in October.... what???   Had my  blood test, lost 4 lbs. so far of the 10 I have to lose, I've gone to one of my required 2 support group meetings.   I think I'll continue to go to them all - just sucking up all that knowledge.  I'm having trouble getting ahold of the psych people, but I'll continue the phone calls until I get a return call.  I've been watching what I eat and talking myself out of "fast food" and "pizza" at least once a week it seems.  Still on the fence about deciding on bariatric vs. lapband.  I make up my mind one day and then change it the next.  That's why I'm constantly on this site and needing to go to the support meetings.  Maybe after my nut visit this week, I'll be more decided.

I met with Dr. Brader and am now completing all my appointments and putting the support group meetings on my calendar.  Shooting for a January date as my insurance requires a 3 month wait.    It's exciting as well as a little scary, but I'm ready.  My appointment with the nutritionist is mid-September.  10 lbs. to lose!  I can do it!

I'm scheduled to visit with Dr. Brader in August.  The office called me and let me know the good news that insurance will cover the cost!  Happy Happy Girl!  Here I go!
